International bestselling author David Baldacci is visiting West Bromwich on Wednesday 22 July.
It’s another fantastic opportunity for Sandwell residents to experience a world-class literary event right on their doorstep.
Following the success of recent visits from acclaimed names including Lee Child and Alexander Armstrong, David Baldacci’s appearance further demonstrates Sandwell’s growing reputation for attracting some of the biggest names in publishing.
As part of the National Year of Reading 2026, this special event at West Bromwich Town Hall will see David discuss his writing journey, inspirations and latest thriller, Hope Rises. The novel follows former FBI informant Walter Nash on a dangerous quest for justice against the criminal empire that destroyed his life.
The evening will also include an audience Q&A and the opportunity for readers to meet David during an exclusive book-signing session.
David Baldacci is one of the world’s most successful and widely read authors. An attorney by education, he is best known for his suspense novels and legal thrillers. His books are published in more than 45 languages and over 80 countries, with worldwide sales exceeding 130 million copies.

The event is being held in association with Waterstones Walsall and Pan Macmillan Publishers.
