Sandwell Council, together with TR Partnership Homes Ltd, has delivered 15 new affordable council homes in Hawes Lane, Rowley Regis.
This latest affordable housing development comprises a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, two-bedroom bungalows and one-bedroom apartments.
They provide high-quality homes to meet growing local demand. People on the council’s housing waiting list will rent the new homes.
The properties have been designed to provide safe and comfortable living for individuals and families, with sustainable measures supporting energy efficiency and cheaper bills.
Sandwell Council’s Leader Councillor Ray Nock said: “I am pleased to see these new homes built to very good modern standards. They will provide much-needed affordable homes for people on Sandwell’s housing waiting list, and they are part of our wider programme of building new council homes.”
Councillor Ken Parsons, Sandwell Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing, added: “These properties provide homes that contribute to tackling the housing crisis. They also help build a stronger, more inclusive community with adapted properties helping to address tenants’ specific needs.”

The properties feature the latest technology including the use of air source heat pumps, photovoltaic solar panels and electrical vehicle charging.
